This first Sunday of Advent, we hear from the prophet Isaiah and Mark. Sara will be sharing with us about how Isaiah offers a word of comfort and John the Baptist tells us one is coming who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. As we prepare ourselves for the arrival of Christ and of this transformational change John wants for us, we have to admit we've been in a year of nothing but change. 2020 has been one for the record. The good news is offered by Isaiah - "Here is the Lord God, coming with strength." We are not alone in this season of radical change, we have a God who shows up and is our guide.
