Every year, aspiring clergy spend months fine-tuning their answers to some basic theological questions. The questions are basic in the sense that they are fundamental to our Christian identity and to the way that we view God and God's work in the world. They are not basic in the sense of their ease. We are going to spend the seven weeks leading up to Lent looking at some of these questions as we talk about our experience of God, evil, grace, the Kingdom of God, the church, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ.
