This Sunday, as we continue our Close to Home sermon series, Pastor Tara will preach on John the Baptist. John shared the Good News... a call to banish inequities, to share what you have, to challenge the systems that oppress...but it didn't feel like "good" news to some (that some being Herod, in particular). This call was so powerful that some wondered if John was the Messiah.
