Blue Christmas 2020

Blue Christmas, or sometimes called a Longest Night Service, is a time where we name the losses that we have experienced individually and corporately. We name our pain and the pain of others through words and music. This year, our Longest Night Service will feature music by Rick Yates and Dave Deckebach, Jack Reed, Kelsey Ebelhar, and Katie Dean. I invite you to have your Advent Candles with you and to light candles as we pray together the litany of losses and light a candle for each of the many ways that we have seen loss. The light that surrounds us reminds us of the hope that we find in Jesus.
